Galvanized steel

In its production, zinc-plated steel undergoes the galvanizing process, therefore, it results that the metal structure of the article is already galvanized at the start. Galvanizing is one of the most popular methods for protecting steel products from external weathering. The guarantee that the metal does not rust is given by the cathodic protection offered by the zinc layer, which in the presence of a pinch or a superficially unprotected area, having less potential, is oxidized to the place of the steel.

Stainless steel

It is an austenitic stainless steel (class of stainless steel hardenable by heat treatment). The basic composition is: chromium between 18% and 25% combined with nickel alloy of 8% minimum. This type of steel, due to its characteristics, is considered one of the most versatile materials on the market and is widely used in the manufacture of artifacts where a pleasing surface appearance and high corrosion resistance are required. The strengths of stainless steel are: excellent corrosion resistance in moderately aggressive environments (rural and urban atmospheres), excellent surface appearance and good oxidation resistance.

Wooden planks

Nordic pine coming from northern Europe. The logs are cut and worked, at the origin, according to the strictest laws on woodland reproduction. Impregnation treatment involves the use of protection salts which are also tested and approved by the Berlin Construction Institute for DIN68800. Clown Aucoumea (Angouma, Gaboon, Okoumé) is a tree of the Burseraceae family originating in West Tropical Africa and particularly in Gabon, Spanish Guinea, Cameroon and the Congo. It is a medium sized tree that grows up to 30-40 meters, rarely larger, with a trunk diameter up to 2/5 meters; it is very abundant and it exports more gaboon / okumè than any other African wood.

Laminated glass

Layered safety glass as a result of the assembly of two slabs by means of a PVB (polyvinyl butyral) interlayer. The intermediate layer keeps the two glass plates in place even when the latter breaks, and with its resistance prevents the formation of large sharp fragments while remaining compact even if fractured. The PVB layer also gives the material a more acoustic effect and increases UV protection.

Bronze
